Tegra Y. Featherstone, mother of four, founded FSM Instructional in 1987. She is certified by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), in grades initial through 7 in both practical piano and music theory, and certified by Trinity College London (TCL) in practical piano grade 7 (grade 8 ABRSM). Mrs. Featherstone is currently working toward her liciente (Masters) from TCL in classical piano. She developed the Bach to Blues program that teachers both classical and jazz formats simultaneously from the beginner level. Mrs. Featherstone was instrumental in forming Clean Music Records (CMR), an Independant Jazz Record Label, with her husband Lurenda Featherstone in 1992. She attained national distribution, promotion and developed marketing for the label. She has also co-produced two CD productions for CMR and engineered one of these productions. In addition, Mrs. Featherstone has worked on artist development and management consulting for Round Table Management Group, a division of CMR. She currently instructs 23 of the 32 students enrolled at FSM Instructional, Inc.
